Another great edition of Nemoland, which hosted Ted Ty and Alessandra Sorrentino.
Two artists who led students to discover the secrets of animated scenes and understand the characters’ minds.

The 22th edition of NEMOLAND will be held on 8 and 9 April 2026 in the prestigious setting of the Teatro Cinema La Compagnia in Florence.
Over 600 students from the art schools of the Nemo Academy and the Porta Romana art school were present at the event.

Ted Ty

Ted Ty is the Global Head of Character Animation at DNEG Animation, bringing over 30 years of experience in feature animation and extensive expertise in both 2D and 3D animation. Throughout his career, he has contributed to more than 20 animated feature films.

Alessandra Sorrentino

Alessandra Sorrentino is an Italian-born Art Director, Story Artist, and 2D Animator with over 20 years of experience in the animation industry. She has worked with leading studios including Pixar Animation Studios, Netflix, Blue Sky Studios, Aardman, Cartoon Saloon, and Studio MDHR
