Nemoland returns on April 15 and 16, with an incredible edition dedicated to the “Magic of Disney“. The legend of Animation Andreas Deja and the director and writer Ted Thomas will receive the Nemoland Legend Award for the important role they have played in the world of animation.
Andreas Deja, creator of amazing animations of unforgettable Disney characters such as King Triton from “The Little Mermaid”, Jafar from “Aladdin”, Scar from “The Lion King”, the title hero “Hercules”, Lilo from “Lilo and Stitch”, and many others.
Ted Thomas, son of one of the great Disney Nine Old Men Frank Thomas, director and author of several documentaries that bring until us the exceptional talent of many great legends of animation. Will attend the event also Fabrizio Mancinelli, musician and composer of documentaries and animated films, shining example of Italian talent in the world.

Andrea Deja

Andreas Deja first applied for a job as a Disney animator at the age of 10. Born in Poland and raised in Germany, he remembers writing to the studio immediately after seeing “The Jungle Book.” “I’d never seen a Disney feature before,” he recalls “It was one of those key experiences because I just couldn’t believe what I’d seen. All those drawings moving, thinking and acting so real.”

Theodore Thomas

Award-winning director and writer Ted Thomas, the son of legendary animator Frank Thomas, was born in 1951 and raised in Los Angeles. Extended stays in India and Japan, and world travels with a camera, eventually led him to making motion pictures.
